Felicia Cannon was raised in Clearwater, Florida. Her education includes studies in printmaking, painting, and book arts. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art from Middle Tennessee State University. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking at Illinois State University. Felicia produces images that have the potential to evoke symbiosis between forms and color within a composition. Repetition and pattern are used to make connections throughout the work. These elements promote ideas of slowness and taking the time to recognize each part that make up a whole - much like memories and experiences that make up one's life.
